"Just doing my best to tread lightly on the Earth."

➳ December Favourites.

It always gets to this point in the year and I find myself thinking about how quickly the year has passed and how it feels as if it was only February yesterday. However the year is almost over, and it is almost time for a fresh new beginning (just like everybody says).

Anyway here are some things I loved during December and will continue to love in the new year.

American Apparel, Denim Skirt.
Expensive, yet an essential addition to my wardrobe. A basic good quality and well fitting denim skirt is something every girl must have.

Cotton On Body, Bralette.
The bralette addiction grows. Complete with mesh, lace, grey, stripes, a nice cutout and gold details. This bralette has been my go-to one throughout December, Its comfy, makes my boobs look great and was pretty affordable.

Lush, Lustre.
This stuff makes my skin glow! It smells incredible and feels extremely soft. It works as a highlight, light eyeshadow and all over body powder.

The Body Shop, Moringa Hand cream.
Received this for my birthday, and it has travelled everywhere with me in my handbag ever since (I have been completely neglecting my mango hand cream). It's the perfect travel size, smells fresh and keeps my hands soft.

Sally Hansen, Disco ball Nail Varnish.
I actually got given this for Christmas from some kids I teach tennis to, attached was a note saying "Teachers like you paint bright futures" (Seriously adorable). Turned out it was perfect for the festive season and I felt like I was 12 year old Nicole again (who trust me, was totally obsessed with glittery nails).

Lush, Rose Jam body wash.
I absolutely cannot get enough of this body wash! The scent is to die for (as long as you like the smell of roses) , however due to it being limited edition I am going to have to buy some more before it runs out! (So if you want some go to lush NOW).

Mantra Band.
I had been admiring Mantra Bands on Instagram for a while now, But hadn't quite been able to allow myself to actually get one (they're quite expensive). But I'm so glad I did get one! I wear it almost everyday, for a little positive reminder. I got the one that says "You are enough" in silver.

Luna & Luxe, Christmas Candle.
I got this candle at the last "That Dapper Market" and completely used it up on Christmas day! (Like not even over exaggerating, its gone) It was the perfect scent of Cinnamon and Orange and made the house smell incredibly festive and delicious.

Thank you so much for reading, Hope you all have a wonderful New Years! See you in 2016!

➳ FREE 2016 Printable Calendar, Number two!

Hey, Hello. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas (Or just a nice day off if you don't celebrate Christmas). I definitely did! Just the usual eating too much food (Vegan of course) and spending the morning listening to Michael Buble on repeat.

So without further ado here is Calendar number two (that totally rhymed) for 2016! I personally love this one! (maybe more than the first one, just maybe). If you haven't seen the first one click *here* .

Let me know what you think and which calendar you prefer!

➳ Vegan Gingerbread & Cute Gift Wrapping, Christmas Eve.

Oh my god! Tomorrow is Christmas, it's practically here! (Yes I did just watch the Grinch for the 50th time this month). I have finally (better late than never) done some Christmas baking (Vegan and gluten free of course) and wrapped all the gifts.

The recipe I followed worked perfectly! Go check it out!

Ingredients:
1 flax egg
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup almond butter
3 Tbsp molasses
1/4 cup vegan butter, softened (I used Nuttelex)
3/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 - 1 3/4 cups gluten free Flour

Icing:
Icing Sugar
Almond/ Coconut milk
Vegan Butter (Nuttelex)
Food colouring, flavours (I added peppermint essence), etc.

I had so much fun baking these and I think they turned out pretty well! (I promise they taste extremely and dangerously delicious)

Now it's time to wrap all the presents! (The best bit).

I always love going all out with my gift wrapping, it's one of my favourite parts of Christmas!

The paper is from Dymocks, Washi tape and candy canes from Target.

I'm pretty chuffed with how they turned out.

Thank you for reading or just looking at the photos!

I hope you all have the most merry and wonderful Christmas!, whether it is snowing, raining or about 39 degrees like its going to be in Adelaide! (I'll just be over here melting on the sidewalk). More posts coming soon!

➳ The best Vegan Donuts in Adelaide, That Dapper Market.

Once again myself and Callan went along to the "That Dapper Market" yesterday afternoon. I didn't take a whole lot of photos, mostly because I hate when people look at me whilst I take photos. It makes me feel way to uncomfortable, any tips on how to deal with this?

Here are the photos I did take, I hope you like them anyway, and get ready for way too many pictures of the Vegan and gluten free donuts.

Ah Luna & Luxe has some of the most amazing smelling candles, I walked away with a small "Christmas" Scented one which smells of cinnamon and orange.

And behold what we were all waiting for, the incredible Happy Maple Vegan, Gluten free and refined sugar free donuts!

These donuts were the main reason of us going to the Market. The flavours we got were Peanut Butter, Golden Yaytime (my personal favourite) and the super impressive looking one was a vanilla donut with biscuit crumbs, chocolate, strawberry jam type stuff (in the syringe) and a Dandies vegan marshmallow! First time trying a vegan marshmallow and it literally taste the exact same as a non-vegan one, you don't miss out on a thing being vegan!

Just seeing the photos of these donuts makes me crave them again.

➳ Finally getting into the spirit, Christmas Outfit Inspiration.

No.1

No.1 by nicole-emily-heath featuring a merry christmas banner

Bralettes, hats, sandals and candles are just a few of my favourite things. Of course there has to be some festive red thrown in there too. Can we also just appreciate how cute that phone case is! (Why is there no cute ones for Sony phones?!). This outfit has a very bohemian vibe to it and I'm totally in love with it.

No.2

No.2 by nicole-emily-heath featuring a monogram mug

Okay first things first I really want that mug (added straight to the wish list) .This outfit is a little more laid back and chill, for a simple Christmas spent just hanging with your loved ones. Cute Christmas socks, comfy boots a subtle festive shirt and a basic button down denim skirt, what more could you want?

No.3

No.3 by nicole-emily-heath featuring christmas home decor

Pale pink, crisp white, Polaroids and bunting, everything girly and sweet. This outfit is a Little more dressy and delicate, perfect for a Christmas lunch or dinner. Also that Christmas bunting is freaking adorable, I think next year I'm going try and DIY something similar (of course I'll do a post on it too).

No.4

No.4 by nicole-emily-heath featuring holiday decor

I want everything! I think is my favourite one, or maybe im as equally in love as with the first set, However I have a feeling that the only thing that I will be purchasing from this set will be the Kmart candle (the only thing within my budget). Though I am sure I will have dreams about this bralette as well as the one in the first set.

Thank you for reading! I do realise these outfits are definitely more suitable for Christmas in Australia (clearly that's where I am) as they are a little more Spring and summer suited. However I hope this inspired you a little where ever you are!

Also feel free to follow me on Polyvore to see more sets like this! (I warn you, pretty much every outfit I create has a bralette or hat or both, sorry not sorry).

➳ FREE 2016 Printable Calendar.

Omg Hey!

As 2015 is coming to an end (where did the time go?) It is time for me to share a new Calendar with you! As you may or may not know last year I created my own Calendar, mostly because I didn't like any of the ones I saw in the shops so figured it would be fun to just make my own! I also decided to share it on my blog and offer you all a copy via email. However I have now found out how to embed it into the post making it a lot easier for you to download and print it!

So here is 2016 Calendar number one! (Yes there is another one to come! Get excited!) I really hope you like it!

You could also print it in black and white if you're more in to the monochrome style (or only have a black and white printer). Either way I think it still looks nice.

Let me know if you print it, or even better take a photo and tag or mention me on instagram! (nicole_e_heath) That would honestly make my day.

➳ November Favourites.

I can't believe it is the end of November already! Christmas is way too close! (and I am not prepared at all).

Here are some of the things I have loved throughout November, I really enjoyed taking these photos! I am realising that taking photos is quite a passion of mine.

Essence Cover Stick.

I have already expressed my love for Essence products in previous posts, and this one is no different. I have loved this product so much that I have almost run out! (Note to self, add to shopping list) I have been trying to wear a little less makeup on a daily basis in an attempt to be a little kinder to my skin so instead of using a foundation or my BB cream I just use this and blend it out.

Honey Macadamia Necklace.

This beautiful necklace was a birthday present from Emily, I am in love with this! Its perfect for everyday wear (and it also means I can't forget my initials).

Pukka Supreme Matcha Green Tea.

My addiction to green tea is back, and stronger than ever. It had been way too long since I had, had just simple green tea, and I was having serious cravings so I picked this one up from Tony & Marks and I feel like I haven't gone a day without having at least one cup.

LUSH Snowman Shower Jelly.

Anything shaped like a cute snowman must be good, right? Well this definitely is, seriously go head into LUSH and smell it for yourself!

EcoTools Makeup Brushes.

My EcoTools collection is growing! I love that their brushes come with adorable little pouches for them, perfect for travel. These are literally the softest makeup brushed I have come across in my life.

The body Shop Coconut Body Butter.

This body butter makes me smell like a delicious coconut cookie, and who doesn't want to smell like that! I also got this for my birthday and it travels in my handbag/backpack with me everywhere.

Ikea Fake Plant and Pot.

Unfortunately because my bedroom does not get quite enough sunlight to keep most plants alive I have turned to fake plants so at least I feel like there is some greenery in my room (Plus Ikea has great prices!).

Typo Sketch Notebook.

My friend Marnie got me this for my birthday (Thanks), as I often expressed how much I wanted a notebook without lines in it, so I could write and draw! And this one is perfect, I love how simple the cover is, its definitely my style.

And that is everything I have been loving for the month of November, Hope you enjoyed this post!

➳ Lush Haul.

Guess who went a little crazy in lush the other day? (hint, its me).

Here is everything I got!

Snowman, Shower Jelly.

Kind of obsessed with the novelty of shower jellies (even if they are somewhat hard to use), I am not keen on the usual shower jelly scents they stock so when a limited edition one comes out, i'm all over it. This one smells so fresh and perfect for Spring (and it's shaped like a cute snowman).

Lush Description:
"Wibble and wobble this snowman-shaped shower jelly all over your body. He's made with a refreshing and sweet scent, and we've added buchu, bergamot and Sicilian lemon oils for an extra mood boost. Seaweed and glycerine help this glide over your skin, leaving it soft and clean."

Tisty Tosty.

I have mentioned this bath bomb in my last favourites, and it is still my all time favourite bath bomb from Lush.

Lush Description:
"Weaves a magic love spell with a scent of precious rose and orris root. The fragrant rose is surrounded with mystery and legend: it is said to have come from the Great Garden of ancient Persia; and Cleopatra is rumoured to have seduced Anthony with it. Rose perfume is said to ease tension and stress and to give people happy, positive feelings. You'll smell the real rose absolute in Tisty Tosty as soon as it hits the water. Give one away to someone you love and use one on yourself. Either way, the Tisty Tosty works its magic spell."

Jason and the Argan Oil Shampoo Bar

After finding out pretty much every Shampoo I have ever used was not cruelty free, a shampoo bar from Lush topped my shopping list. I picked out the one I liked the scent of the most and was then told I had also picked the perfect one for my hair (score!).

Lush Description:
"On a quest for stronger, shinier, softer hair? Try this argan oil-packed, Rose Jam-scented bar. Ideal for those with lighter hair tones.

No Drought, Dry Shampoo.

Finally something for those lazy days/nights where I really don't feel like washing my hair, now my hair can still look, smell and feel fresh without really being all that.

Lush Description:
"For freshness and a little spruce up between proper washes, puff some of this powder directly into the hair, or onto your hands, and work through.  Then a quick brush out, ensuring you get any loose excess powder away – and you will be left fresh, fragrant and non-greasy.   Contains a lovely light fragrance of lemon, grapefruit and lime that leaves you smelling great and feeling uplifted and awake.  The fine powders in this will absorb grease from you hair, whilst still being easy to brush out without leaving a white dusty look to your hair."

Rose Jam, Shower Gel.

I am currently suffering from an addiction to everything rose scented, this shower gel smells like fancy Turkish delight (I have to seriously refrain from eating it). And considering it is only limited edition I may have to go back and buy the largest bottle they have!

Lush Description:
"Let your skin be kissed by a rose with this sweetly floral shower gel. Wrap yourself in a comforting embrace with nourishing Moroccan argan oil, organic rose absolute and rose oil together with a Fair Trade vanilla pod infusion. This is an indulgent wash that lifts the spirits."

This bath bomb it quite sweetly scented, which I am not usually in to but I like this one and I am excited to see what colours it turns my bath!

Lush Description:
"Here comes a bath bomb of astronomical proportions. We were inspired by The Imagined Village's intriguing interpretation of Space Girl from their second album, Empire & Love. It's shaped like Saturn with added space dust for our alien friends, and the refreshing scent of blackcurrant sweeties will make you hungry for your own space adventures. Space Girl is stellar, just remember your blaster and your freezer gun."

Lustre, Body Powder.

Oh my god! I swear this stuff is literally powdered gold! I have already used this to highlight my face and I am in love, it smells incredible! Seriously you need to go straight to your nearest Lush store and try this product!

Lush Description:
"Fragranced with the sensual jasmine scent of Lust – by the Gorilla Perfumers at LUSH - this dusting powder has a very fine gold shimmer in it to give the skin a light glow."

That is everything I got from Lush (this time), Hope you enjoyed this post!
