"Just doing my best to tread lightly on the Earth."

➳ May Favourites.

Here is everything I have been loving throughout the month of May!

Be Indulged Eye shadow Palette
I got this little eye-shadow palette from Kmart for under $4 (forgot the actual price sorry!) It has four shades (sorry for the blurry photo!) and all together they create the perfect brown smokey eye! They aren't extremely pigmented but easy to build up to create a bolder colour.

Essence Mascara
I bought this not to long ago from Price-line and have been using it most days since then, it is a great mascara!

Essence Brow Designer
Looove this product! Makes my brow game strong!

Essence Long-lasting Lipstick
This lipstick is in the shade 04 "On the Catwalk" and is a soft red/pink colour.

If you want to know some more about the essence products check out my post where I reviewed them!

Botanics Body Moisturiser
"Moisturising lotion with cocoa butter, Shea butter & almond oil" (smells as good as it sounds, kind of like a biscuit). I got this massive 500mL bottle for literally $2 (so obviously I bought two) from Kmart (of course) and I'm pretty sure they were on a clearance sale so unfortunately I don't think they sell them any more.

Also can we just appreciate how cute my Bambi/Fawn soap dispenser is!! (it is filled with the biscuit scented body lotion).

Beauty Care co Green Tea facial wipes
($2 from Kmart yet again) You know those nights when you are extremely exhausted and all you want to do is go straight to bed and fall asleep but you still have make-up on? Well then you would know how wonderfully convenient face wipes are! These ones smell super refreshing and feel lovely on your skin, they have Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Chamomile.

Neutrogena Make-up bag
I can't tell whether I love this more because its white and has a beautiful pattern on the inside or because it was free... Either way I love it! Yesterday I went to the chemist in the city and at the checkout we were given a Neutrogena make-up bag for FREE! (score). It really is pretty and I will definitely be putting it to use!

Pancakes!

Who doesn't love pancakes? (especially when the weather is cold) After finally perfecting my Vegan/Gluten free pancake recipe I just cant get enough of them! They are refined sugar free and bloody delicious!

These are a few of the flavour combos I have been making and loving this month!

peanut butter with chocolate sauce, vanilla and maple syrup

Vanilla and maple syrup, Cinnamon with maple syrup

Chocolate with Mayvers super spread, raspberry and banana

Oranges!

Oranges are in season here in Australia so they have been wonderfully juicy and so good! I either eat one as a snack a few as a mono-meal or use use them in juice!

If you want to know how I make my favourite juice at the moment check out this post!

Porridge!

Porridge is my go-to breakfast when I don't have time for pancakes but still want a sweet hot breakfast. I make my porridge with rice flakes (because my tummy cannot digest gluten very well), chia seeds (soaked in water until they turn into pudding), cinnamon, maple syrup or coconut sugar, banana and some sort of nut butter (ugh its seriously so delicious, like having desert for breakfast).

Superpower by Beyoncé ft. Frank Ocean

When I first heard the beginning of this song I wasn't to keen on it but now after listening to it a few times I love it!

I don't even know how to describe it, you'll just have to listen to it yourself if you're interested!

 Thank-you for reading! x

➳ Instagram Diary, May 2015.

Hi there! Hope your month was filled with wonderful things!

Mine was evidently filled with tons of food! (Seriously only just realising quite how many food pictures I posted this month). From Fresh fruits, to absolutely mouthwatering pancakes (I plan on posting my recipe soon!) to filling burgers. I have been completely loving living a vegan lifestyle and enjoying immense amounts of "Cruelty Free" food (mostly pancakes).

As you can see there are also a lot of pictures of or near my favourite plant in my backyard, and if I post a picture of myself it usually for some strange reason ends up sideways (I honestly don't know why I do this).

Anyway, If you want to, feel free to follow me on Instagram! (especially if you want to see more fabulous food) :

I would love it if you left a comment letting me know what your month consisted of! (ahh talk to me please) xx

➳ Make up products for under $5! - Essence Cosmetics, Product Reviews.

Hey! I recently bought a few Essence cosmetics products from Price line and decided I would do a little mini review of the products I decided to try. I only picked up a few of their products because I had never used this brand before so I didn't want to go all out and not end up liking them. But luckily the products are fabulous! (Will be buying more soon for sure) Also I believe that they do not test on animals and their products are Vegan (yay save the animals).

 Eyebrow Designer, 02 Brown

I am absolutely in love with this product! 100% featuring in my May favourites post!
I'm quite new to the whole "filling in my eyebrows" thing, so this was the first product I picked up because I figured that a pencil would be quite easy to use. Its super easy to glide on and incredibly blendable and forgiving (Which is great if you're a bit clumsy like me). I have been using this product pretty much everyday since I bought it and I definitely recommend getting one if you are on the lookout for a new brow pencil especially since they are only $3.05 each!

Get Big Lashes, Volume Boost Mascara

Since running out of my favourite $7 Jordana mascara from Cheap as Chips I have been on the look out for a new decent mascara (that is also ridiculously cheap). Essence actually has quite a few different mascaras available and thankfully they have pictures of what the wands look like so you kind of know what to expect. I chose this one because I prefer the bristle type wands (Not the greatest description) rather than the plastic ones (if you know what I mean). I have used it plenty of times now and I really really like it! The formula is nice and build-able and it only cost me $4.70 (win!).

Long-lasting Lipstick, 04 On the Catwalk!

Choosing which colour Lipstick to get from their long-lasting collection was probably the toughest decision of my life (may be over exaggerating a little bit). But seriously they do have a lot of really nice shades, I ended up choosing this one because I have been looking for a sort of muted red/pink lipstick for a little while and this one appeared to be the perfect colour. I have already used it a handful of times, and I love that you can blend it so that it is sheer for everyday wear and also apply it quite thick for a dramatic colour. Their Lipsticks only cost $4.70 each and I will definitely be going back and picking up some more! (Maybe I will do a mini Essence haul post).

➳ Super Sweet Healthy Juice! (Only 4 Ingredients!)

Even though the weather here is chilly (Chilly seems like an understatement), when the sun comes out I always crave fresh juice!
And since oranges are in season and especially juicy at the moment why not use them along with fresh pineapple to make a wonderful, healthy, vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free mouthwatering Juice! (Only four ingredients!)

Give it a try! You won't regret it! (I'm addicted now)

Ingredients:

Three Juicy Oranges
Two Slices of Fresh Pineapple
The Juice of One mini Lime or half large Lime
A few Cubes of Ice

Add all ingredients into blender.

I used my George Foreman Mix and Go Blender, First I blended the fruit then added Ice and blended again until smooth.

Pour into large Cup or Jar (Difficulty for me is choosing which jar!), add a straw (preferably a cute one) and Enjoy!

Super fresh, super Easy and most importantly super delicious!

Let me know what you think if you give this juice a try!

➳ My Bucket List.

First of all,
A bucket list is a number of things, experiences, accomplishments or goals that you would like to own, do or complete during your lifetime.

And you might be wondering,
(I definitely was)
Well I'm sure you have heard of the saying "Kick the bucket" (passes away). That's where the term Bucket list came from, a list of thing you want to do before you "Kick the bucket".

I decided I would share Ten things from my bucket list that I haven't yet completed and Five things that I have accomplished (so far in my 17 years of life).

I keep my 155 item long (not even joking) Bucket list in a journal, with a page separator in the middle where I write about completing each thing.

Go to a concert,
I have had opportunities to tick this one off but I'm scared of wasting my money on someone who may not be great live.
Learn how to surf
I'm slightly afraid of the ocean, but at the same time I love it. (I'm probably more afraid of what's in the ocean)
Try Dragon fruit (Pitaya),
I literally have no idea what Pitaya tastes like but it looks so pretty and interesting (Seriously Google it) that I need to give it a go (would have already ticked that off if they didn't cost so much in Adelaide).
Get a tattoo
I turn 18 in October so maybe (emphasis on the maybe) this will happen early next year! (Just need to save the money and think of the perfect tattoo)
Go jetty jumping
Even though I'm pretty sure this is illegal here in Australia I have seen tons of people do it and I would really love to have a go (obviously after someone else goes first so I know its safe).
Donate blood
I really want to do this because there are so many people that need blood, and It doesn't cost me anything to give some of mine. I think its something everyone should do (if they can) at least once in their life.
Experience a sensory deprivation tank
I saw one if these on Tumblr and it is pretty much a bathtub that is heated to the exact temperature of your skin, is pitch black and completely soundproof. Therefore limiting your sense of touch, sound and sight.
Go on the swing at the end of the world
Hanging from a skinny branch of the overhanging tree in Baños Canton, Ecuador is The swing at the end of the world (just a thick stick suspended by two, hopefully strong, ropes). This swing arcs riders out over the void of the Canyon and has no harness, net or any other safety features.
Go to lake Hillier
Lake Hillier is a bubble gum pink in appearance lake about 600 meters long in Australia. (Who wouldn't want to go and see a lake that is bright pink!)
See the "underwater waterfall" in Mauritius
Picture yourself swimming out in the ocean and then suddenly you are being sucked down into a huge, tumbling underwater waterfall! Actually this "underwater waterfall" is just an illusion caused by local sand and silt deposits that flow through the area and fluctuate the colour of the water so that it appears like a waterfall heading down to who knows where. The ideal dream would be to go on a helicopter ride above to see this stunning illusion.

Swing at the end of the world, Lake Lake Hillier and the "Underwater Waterfall".

Survive high school
Even though I didn't quite make it all the way to year 12 I still survived.
Have a loft bed
This has been something I have wanted for as long as I have had my own (fairly small) room. Eventually I managed to save $400 to purchase my dream loft bed from Ikea.
Have 100 subscribers on YouTube
This may seem like a small accomplishment to some who have well over 100 but this for me was freaking awesome! In December 2014 I reached 100 subscribers on my singing YouTube channel! (Click here to here me sing)
Start a blog
Well obviously I could cross this one off! I have had my blog for quite a while but never really "started" it until my first post in December last year! (check out my first ever post, really missing those summer beach days!)
Make a candle
The first candle I ever made was an attempt at a Christmas spice scented one (didn't work out all that well), Since then I have made two that worked out a little better.

My Journal is from Typo, I got it on sale for $5. "It says let's Fiesta like there's no Manyana. (Which I think means tomorrow in Spanish, however I think Typo may have spelt it wrong).

Comment down below letting me know what's on your Bucket list!

and let me know if any are the same as mine!

➳ Home Inspiration from Tumblr.

Hello, Hope you're all having a lovely day.

Since I am an absolute Tumblr addict and spend majority of my time scrolling down my dashboard (Literally hit post limit before it was even midday today). I thought I would do a post (probably end up being a little series, because I saved way too many photos) sharing my favourite home inspiration type pictures that I have come across whilst on tumblr.

I decided to just focus this post on two aspects that I would love to have for my home, I decided on natural light (lots of windows) and Plants.

(Not sure of the source of each photo, got them all off tumblr)

Anyone else a sucker for huge windows, pretty views and immense amounts of natural lighting? Just imagine the views you would get of the sun setting or rising! (and think of all the potential amazing Instagram and tumblr photos).

Ideally I would love to have my office in front of a massive window, with a long timber desk and a stunning view. I couldn't think of a better place to get work done (or just stare mindlessly out the window), write blog posts and especially take photos for posts with all the perfect lighting!

(CLICK TO ENLARGE)(Not sure of the source of each photo, got them all off tumblr)

Why should you have plants in your home?? Well first of all plants make you happy (and not just because they're pretty and aesthetically pleasing) several studies show that having interior plants can reduce stress and improve overall well-being (sounds good to me). Plants can also reduce carbon dioxide, remove airborne contaminants and act as a humidifier (woo plants!).

But I suppose plants and having natural lighting go hand in hand, and since my bedroom doesn't get much sun most plants can not survive in there (sad face). However when I am ready to leave home and find my own place having big windows allowing natural light and lots of REAL plants is extremely high on my list of criteria.

Hope you enjoyed this post (even just a little bit) and Feel free to follow me on Tumblr!
(I promise I re-blog tons of pretty pictures)
